In July 2024 the Sentinel-2 satellite scanned the PCT on July 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th, and 25th. This time span is when
sections of the PCT in Washington were emerging from the snow. By the 25th there was no need for PCT backpackers
to take snow equiptment on any part of the trail and by the 30th there were not even small patches to be crossed.
